West Lafayette GMRS was the original parent company and was formed in 2021.  

West Lafayette GMRS is now a division of West Central Indiana Amateur Radio as of 2026.

The organization operates and manages 2 GMRS Repeaters:

West Lafayette 650 (Tippecanoe County)

TX: 467.650 DPL 664 RX: 462.650 DPL 664

Benton County 725 (Benton County) (Off the air)

Goal is to have this repeater back on the air later in 2026

A valid GMRS license is required to operate at the higher GMRS power levels versus FRS but licenses can still be shared with immediate family members.
